Endotoxin (LAL) screens for bacterial lipopolysaccharides; results typically reported in EU/mL. Sterility checks for microbial growth over a defined incubation period. These tests answer different questions and are not duplicates.

8. Order Acceptance and Right to Refuse Service
Lost Coast Aminos reserves the right to decline, cancel, or refund any order at its discretion. Orders may be rejected due to suspected misuse, regulatory concerns, incomplete or inaccurate information, or any other factor indicating that the purchaser may not be qualified to handle research materials safely and responsibly.
9. Payment, Processing, and Shipping
Orders are processed during normal business hours in the order they are received. Processing times may vary, and delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation once the order has entered fulfillment. Once a shipment has been transferred to the carrier, responsibility for delivery, temperature conditions, and transit timelines passes to the carrier. Lost Coast Aminos is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or delivery errors caused by the postal carrier.
10. Returns and Defective Materials
Due to the nature of research materials, returns cannot be accepted except in cases of confirmed defect or documented shipping damage. Any claims of defect must be submitted within 7 days of delivery and supported with photographic or video evidence. Returned materials will not be accepted without prior approval.
11. Modifications to Terms
Lost Coast Aminos reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or purchasing products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Standard processing 1–3 business days. Temperature‑sensitive items ship with cold packs as applicable. Due to RUO status, returns are limited to documented defects or transit damage within 7 days of delivery.
